Our Story
Filipina Grace began with our relationship journey.
Apple and Bren met through Christian Filipina in October 2023. We came from different countries, different cultures, and very different life experiences, but from our earliest conversations, there was something different about the connection.
We didn’t rush it. Over the next three months, we spent countless hours talking, learning about each other’s lives, sharing our values, and trying to understand what it would really mean to build a relationship across cultures and thousands of miles.
Then Bren came to the Philippines.
Meeting face to face confirmed what we had been building from a distance. The relationship was real, the connection was stronger in person, and during that first visit Bren proposed.
Of course, getting engaged didn’t make the distance disappear. We still had to navigate different cultures, expectations, schedules, communication styles, and all of the uncertainty that comes with an international relationship. Technology helped us stay connected, but patience, communication, faith, and a willingness to understand each other were what allowed the relationship to grow.
Along the way, we started talking about our experiences online.
We shared the good parts, but we also talked about the questions, misunderstandings, and lessons that come with dating someone from another culture. Through TikTok Lives and videos, more and more people began joining those conversations.
People started listening. Then they started asking questions. And eventually, they began sharing their own stories with us.
That is how Filipina Grace grew from our relationship into something much larger.
We married in April 2026, but we don’t look at our wedding as the end of our story. In many ways, it gave us an even stronger reason to share what we have learned.
We remain grateful to Christian Filipina for creating the place where our paths first crossed. But we also know that finding the right person is only the beginning. Building a relationship takes patience, honesty, cultural understanding, faith, and a willingness to listen to one another.
Today, Filipina Grace is our way of sharing those lessons and creating a community where people can ask honest questions, learn from one another, and remain hopeful while searching for a sincere relationship.
Our story began with two people finding each other from opposite sides of the world.
We hope Filipina Grace can help others believe that their story is still being written.
